The winners of Prevention’s Beauty Awards 2024, the most trusted guide to beauty for smart, curious women 35+, have been revealed.
“With almost 750 individual entries this year, it was incredible to see such a range of products supporting the beauty and skincare needs of women aged 35 plus," says Prevention Australia’s beauty editor Cecily-Anna Bennett.
"It was especially exciting to see the innovation coming from both established heritage and small independent brands as well as the effective formulas, smart tech, skincare and makeup that can really make a difference to skin health, appearance and confidence,” she says.
This year's judges were dermatologist Dr Eleni Yiasemides, award-winning makeup artist Amanda Ramsay, and Prevention’s beauty editor Cecily-Anna Bennett. They judged hundreds of entrants across the following categories:
- Daily Essentials
- Anti-Agers
- Body Essentials
- Hands, Feet and Nails
- Clever Cosmetics
- Beauty Tools
- Green Beauty
- Fit & Fabulous (this is a new category for 2024)
"Ever year I’m amazed by the number of entries—this year we had well over 700!" says Bennett.
"And the level of innovation, the technology, the science behind many of the ingredients is really impressive. Every year the awards gets bigger as new innovations and categories and trends emerge. Everyone’s skin is different and I love that the awards showcases so many worthy products for every skin type and concern."
